  Overall I've always enjoyed good food and good service at this particular Ruby Tuesday. Today was an interesting experience and by the time we left I was really impressed. I took my son in for a midday meal and his burger was good, the garden bar was good for both of us, but my steak was not cooked to order. I ordered Medium but it was definitely closer to Well done, so I told the waitress and she apologized and took it back and ordered me another one. When the second steak was brought out it was even more over-cooked than the first. The waitress was very apologetic and got a manager to come see it. He was very professional and said it was totally unacceptable and said there would be no charge for my meal. Of course by then I needed to finish eating and get going so I didn't ask them to try again. I have ordered that same steak before there and it was served to me perfectly cooked, better than most steaks at other restaurants, but apparently there was a new cook in training and the manager assured me he would not be cooking more steaks until his training was done LOL! I ate some of it and then we were ready to go. I looked over to where I had seen the waitress standing a few minutes before and didn't see her, and I stood up to get a better look but still didn't see her so I sat down. The manager came over to me at that time and asked if I needed something and I told him no, I was just ready for the bill. He said there would be no bill for me today that he he would cover it. I certainly didn't expect that! I tipped the waitress and thanked her, and we left very surprised and thankful that the management cared so much.
